With an ambitious team at the Marketing and E-Commerce department, we are building a beautiful brand that inspires customers to express their emotions. We create new campaigns and develop our (digital) communication strategy to reach as many customers as possible in the right place and at the right time. As we work agile, our Marketing team is divided into four different squads, namely a Digital squad and three Retail squads (Food, Non-Food and Seasons & Gift Presentation).

The Digital squad is responsible for all marketing activities for the Hallmark online channels, such as the webshop and social media platforms. We optimise our marketing channels performance and validate all our new ideas for a better digital platform through data analysis and testing. We translate important customer insights into a better online customer experience to ensure our customers become loyal Hallmark users.

The Food, Non-Food and Seasons & Gift Presentation squads are responsible for all marketing activities within the physical stores. It encompasses season or collection campaigns and promotions, in-store branding, an optimal presentation of our products, partner days, trade fair participation, and our in-house magazine development. Like in the Digital squad, in these three squads, we work based on data analysis and market research to maximise the return on marketing activities. We believe it is critical for success to share knowledge and inspiration, which we do during the informal drinks and outings and at the performance marketing chapter, where the marketers from all four squads come together to learn from each other.
